I
have recently received an award for 30 years service to Scouting. Most of my experience has been in the Scout
section both in running a Troop and also serving on the District team for Penge
& Beckenham North. Buckmore Park was
a favourite campsite during February in the 1970s in the days when wearing
shorts was compulsory!
I am a woodbadge holder and have held Scout Leader and Group Scout Leader positions.
Although I am no longer active as a leader in Scouting I am excited by the vision for Buckmore Park and so offered my services as Treasurer.
